Founded in 1998, according to the
Companies Act, a company productivity of the treatment of natural
gas associated with oil extracted from the fields of the South as a
field Rumaila North, Rumaila South for the production of dry gas,
liquefied gas, butane gas and gasoline natural for export and
processing companies to fill natural gas for domestic consumption.
And gas project is south of the mega-projects which are owned by the
Republic of Iraq, given the critical situation which coincided with
the period of its establishment and has not yet been achieved
primary goal of the project.
Production lines
First: - Sections of separating liquids:
They are two units identical established the year 1983 within a
complex project Gas South is located in the center of the company /
Khor Al-Zubair in the production has been constructed by a company
plagues French card 350 Mqmq / day, each with their task of
separating liquids hydrocarbon (Albroocanut) of gas, nutrient
extracted from the fields of Rumaila South and production of dry gas
processes of pressing and cooling where it sends (Albroocanut) to
units of production of liquid gas in the Khor Al-Zubair is used as a
dry gas as a fuel within the complex as well as to sustain the
plants of other such as electricity, fertilizer and petrochemical
plant iron and steel and distributes them through company pipelines.
Second: - The production units of liquid gas:
These are three units of similar set up in 1983 within the project
complex gas south by a company Tknb French card 260 tons / hour per
unit for the production of gas, liquefied propane and butane gas
canisters and gasoline business is products for export through the
loading port at Um-Qasr by oil tankers and the difficulty of
achieving this purpose, these products are used for domestic
consumption and need to cover consumers in all parts of Iraq where
the liquid material gas is distributed by truck cars or oil
pipelines or by pumping the reverse where the product is transferred
by pipeline to other provinces in the center and north.
This unit produces pure propane is also used for cooling purposes in
the production units as well as meet the need of refineries in the
center and south.
The gasoline are mixed with a certain percentage of gasoline
imported for the purpose of improving the specifications and use
Kbenzin for cars.
Third: - Department of separating liquids plant / North Rumaila:
, A unit similar to the two units in the first set up in 1983 within
the project complex gas south by a company Jewda Japanese and
located in the North Rumaila in the liquefaction of the gas card 680
Mqmq / day gas feeder extractor from the fields of Rumaila North,
The Albroocanut product of this unit sends to the production units
liquid gas, which lies at the center of the company.
Fourth: - the complex storage and export:
This unit designed to store and export products three major listed
above (propane, butane, gasoline) for export, where it is stored in
tanks concrete at low temperatures until shipped tanker oil in the
case of export at present used as energy storage additional to the
company for storage of gas liquid and then pumped to the provinces
by pumping reverse through a series of pipes and pumps extended
toward the center and north, and the loading port is a port created
for the purpose of loading finished products prepared for export by
tankers and designed card 4800 m 3 / h, is currently being used to
receive liquid gas and imported gasoline to meet local need.
Fifth: - the treatment of gas:
The pressing plants in the South Rumaila and North Rumaila, which
recently caused to the South Gas Company with effect from 1/1/2010,
and consists of the following stations: -
A - plants pressing in South Rumaila are four stations (Central,
South, maize, and spouses) receive the gas phase and other phases of
the plants to isolate the gas and then dried in units of drying to
reduce moisture content before sending it to feed the plant
separating liquids / Rumaila and plant separating liquids / Creek
Zubair.
B - plants CBS gas in the North Rumaila are five stations: (CS1,
CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5), and the receipt of gas phase and the rest of
the stages of plants to isolate the gas then passes in units of dry
gas and sent to feed the plant separating liquids / North Rumaila.
C - gas treatment plant at North Rumaila, receive a dry gas from the
gas plants (Rumaila + Khor Al-Zubair) and the lifting of the
pressure and then paid to the strategic line.
D - stations Zubair and number five (Zubair, Zubayr Musharraf, ass,
ass Musharraf, Rafidiyah) of the plant units dry the old you to
receive gas only the first phase and sent to a laboratory of
separating liquids / Khor Al-Zubair is also feeding the grid
directly.
E - Ben Omar Station
